Code of Ethics

According to a 2023 Gallup poll, nurses are consistently ranked as the most honest and ethical profession in the US. The Nursing Code of Ethics, a cornerstone of our profession developed by the American Nurses Association in the 1950s, establishes ethical practices as the foundations of nursing education and practice. Autonomy, beneficence, justice, and non-maleficence are the specific ethical tenets forming the core nursing standards and embedded into nurses' everyday actions and conduct. I bring the high standards of professionalism that these foundational principles foster and the knowledge, skills, and experience I have earned over many years in nursing.
